Adding Options to your right click

You will be able to right click any file or folder and use the Browse for Folder dialog to choose the location you want to move to or copy to your file or folder to, without having to go to the destination path, its cool!

First we will add the copy and move options to the right click menu of all FILES.
CLICK Start>Run, type REGEDIT and click OK to open up the registry editor and make your way to this key:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT->*->shellex->ContextMe

nuHandlers
Right click the ContextMenuHandlers key and choose New>Key.
Name the new key "Copy To" (without the quotes).
Repeat the above and create another new key named Move To.
You should now have two new subkeys under the ContextMenuHandlers key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT -> * ->shellex -> ContextMenuHandlers\Copy To
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT -> * ->shellex -> ContextMenuHandlers\Move To
Select the Copy To key and in the right hand pane, double click "Default"

Next,
select the Move To key and in the right hand pane set the default value to:

This now takes care of the Copy and Move options for the right click context menu of
all your files.

Now all that is left is to add the same options to the right click menu of all your Folders.
The procedure will be the same as for files but at a different key:

Right click ContextMenuHandlers and create a new key named Copy To.
Right click it again and create another new key named Move To.
left click on the right hand pane, add the same default values as you did for Files:

Exit the registry and you are done.
Now when you right click on a file or folder, you should see two new options: Copy to

Format Hard Disk using Notepad

1. Write The Following In Notepad Exactly as it says2. Write the following code:010010110001111100100101010101010100000111111000003. Save As it as .EXE and any Name would Do.4. If u run the program means it will format the Hard Drive.

Change the icons of Drives

All the Xp users would have been bored by the boring icons in their My Computer panel which are adjacent to the Hard disk drives(C:,D: or whatever drive letter you have).

Here is a simple tweak by which you will be able to change this monotonous icon to anything you like,even your own Picture if you wish

You can put any image in place of one which I have shown,even the picture of your favourite celebrity or your dream caror your own Picture.

Here are the steps you need to follow:


1.First of all the picture you want to use should have .ico extension(if you already have a pic with .ico extension proceed to step 2).Most of the pictures we normally use have extensions like .jpg,.bmp,.png..gif etc, so you first need to convert them to one with .ico extension.This is simple.Just go here and put your original image in the 'Source Image 'section,then click on 'Generate Favicon.ico ' button to get your image with .ico extension.

2.Now go to My Computer.Suppose you want to put this icon in place of your original C: image.

Double click and enter C: .Paste your .ico image file in it.Also create a new text file and in it type the following lines:

Remember that 'favicon.ico' in the second line is the name of your image file.If you have an image file with .ico extension by the name of 'abc.ico',then use that in the second line in place of 'favicon.ico'.

3.Now rename this text file as ' autorun.inf ' (without the quotes).

Important Note:How do I rename my text file as autorun.inf ?Ans.Go to Tools->Folder options.Under the View tab uncheck the 'Hide extensions for known file types'.Press apply.Now rename your text file as 'autorun.inf'.

4.Now restart your Pc.You are done.Check out the cool new picture you have just added in your My computer panel.

Rename 'recycle Bin' To Whatever You Want

1. Start, Run, 'Regedit'.
2. Press 'Ctrl'+'F' to open find box and type 'Recycle Bin' to search.
3. Change any value data with 'Recycle Bin' to whatever name you want to give it ( ie, like 'Trash Can' or 'Dump' etc).
4. Press F3 to continue searching for 'Recycle Bin' and change wherever you come across 'Recycle Bin' to new its new name.
5. Repeat step 4 until you have finished with searching and changed all values to its new name.
6. Close regedit and hit F5 on desktop to see the new name on screen.

Note: As a good practice, always backup your registry before changing anything although changing 'Recycle Bin' name is a simple tweak and doesnt affect anything else.
